GWIAN dedicates its time and resources to meet global objectives of environmental conservation and sustainable development.
Founded in Nairobi in 2005 during the world environment day conducted by UNEP in collaboration with Kikwetu and Kakamega friends of nature, GWIAN wants to provide alternative eco-friendly culture that empower people to become active agents of sustainable and equal development with an assurance of a safe healthy future.
GWIANis now settled in Kakamega near the Forest with KFNK(Kakamega Friends of Nature Kenya) who has been seedlings indigenous trees since now 15 years.
GWIAN uses Art as a tool to educate, empower and upgrade living standards in the community.
That’s a fantastic idea. We should not always in fact ever let outsiders come identify our areas of weaknesses then come help us we should man up.
